About Trekking in Sikkim :
The best months for trekking and touring in Sikkim are Oct-Nov-Dec and Jan/March-April-May
and part of June. However, Sikkim is for all seasons and all reasons. The Rhododendron
flowers are at the best from May to June end. In Dec and Jan there are liable
to be heavy snowfalls at the heights. The forests of Sikkim are still intact.
About Trekking in Sikkim is very different from Nepal, as trekkers are not allowed
to roam unaccompanied through the hills as that of Nepal. Foreigners must form
a group of at least 2 persons and a registered TREKKING AGENCY in SIKKIM must
provide support services.
